Standards
As we all know, content standards are
here to stay. Here are some resources that have published
student standards. Browse these sites to learn what is
expected of students.
- California's
Department of
Education
has posted the Language Arts Content Standards. The
standards are grouped according to Listening, Reading,
Writing and Speaking, and by grade level.

- The International
Reading Association
and the National
Council of Teachers of
English have jointly
created Language Arts Standards. The twelve standards
they present are applicable to all grade levels. The
standards are also short and concise.

Northwest
Regional Education
